Ventilation is the airflow through the trailer via windows, vents and roof hatches.

What is it for?

It removes heat, moisture and dust, which protects the horse's breathing.

Good ventilation without a draught blowing on the horse is the balance you want. Poor ventilation with dust and moisture is linked to respiratory problems after transport. Keep air openings open, even in winter.
