Good loading and unloading prevents stress and injury to horse and human.

Work calmly, give the horse time and lead it from the side into a straight, inviting entrance. Park on level ground with a firm ramp. A horse that consistently loads with difficulty is better helped by an experienced trainer or behaviourist than by force.
