Shedding blade
A shedding blade is a loop or strip with small teeth to remove loose winter coat during shedding.

It catches and lifts loose hairs, which helps with shedding out in spring.

On the large, smooth areas such as the neck, flank and hindquarters.

Draw it lightly in the direction of the hair to take loose hair with it.
