The geometry

A circle with a diameter of 20 metres that touches four points. A 20-metre circle at A or C touches the short side, a point on the centre line and both long sides; it fills the full width of the arena (20 m).

Good to know

The 20-metre circle already appears in the lowest dressage tests and is often ridden at A, C, E or B. Riders aim for four touch points to keep the circle round.
