The geometry
A circle of 6, 8 or 10 metres diameter. A figure larger than 10 m is called a circle, up to and including 10 m a volte. The 10-metre volte is the largest, the 6-metre volte the smallest.
Good to know
The volte is a closed circle that returns to its starting point; the smaller the diameter, the sharper the turn. Voltes of 10 m and smaller appear from the medium levels onwards.
